Come Together

Count down to moving is just 3 days now!! I have been living out of a suitcase for the past month and can't wait to have my closet organized for optimal dressing. The scary part about moving is that I havent even seen the place yet, well besides the google streetview of it, so hopefully the boyfriend did a good job of picking, fingers crossed!

Last Saturday

Since I already have the Twiggy hair, I thought I'd try the twiggy make-up last night. I didnt do as well as I expected, lack of that tiny brush was why, but still turned out super cute.

Some more photos from Saturday nights party, I got to debut my new Aerial 7  headphones, so pretty. Apparently my fur coat brings all the boys to the yard, trying to steal my fur to emulate the P Diddy early 00's look.
 I'm back home in Arizona for the week visiting family for the holiday and cant wait for some of my secret shopping stash stores here in AZ like Last Chance and XI. I'll be back in California the 26th and am playing a party at Voyeur stop by if you're around, I hear there is going to be a special appearance by a certain anime character thats not to be missed...

Styling Tip: OVERDRESSING

My latest styling secret is something I like to call 'overdressing' not because your dressing way posher than the occasion requires (because youre a fashionista and you are always dressed to kill), but because you are wearing garments 'over' others. One of my favorite overdressers is Betty from Le Blog de Betty  whether its a vest or feather collar she'll overdress the cus out of it. Overdressing is a helpful tool for making your wardrobe larger than it is, I find this especially important in the winter months when it seems like you wear the same thing everyday when you are just wearing you favorite jacket. Overdressing doesnt just have to stop above the belt but can be achieved throughout your look for example; tight high sock over tights. Below are a few examples of overdressing, but as youll notice just about every jacket and vest are interchangeable whether youre going for, hesh, punk rock, sophisticate, glam, or whatever look you choose!

Saturday Night

What a fantastical weekend! Friday evening I got to strut for the Betsey Johnson fashion show in San Diego and see my old pink lady's, and DJ'ed Voyeur's Friday supper club. Then Saturday headlined at U-31 for Winter Disco, so pumped to bring out the big jams for a closing set. Thanks for having me Nicole!! <3 U-31 <3 I took to opportunity to try out more of my 'stage make-up' ideas and this time was inspired by the runway makeup from Jeremy Scott's Spring/Summer 2010 collection. I also got some new DJ footage (thanks new camera!) see below. I'll have more photos from the weekend coming soon...
