California Adventure

I had a magical sunday at California Adventure Disneyland. Although it wasn't my first time to the park it was my first time going on many of the rides, and I fell in love with the Tower of Terror. We also saw an Aladdin play which was fabulous, I wasn't sure they could pull of that movie on stage but they did it beautifully. I have to say, Disneyland is still my favorite park, but the food (and margaritas oh heyy!) definitely are better at California Adventure. I'm wearing:

Shoe Rape - LF Warehouse Sale

I just got back from the LF Stores warehouse sale. Goly gee was that a good time! When you walk in a friendly staff member hands you an industrial size trash bag and lets you run loose in the warehouse where everything is priced so low you feel like your stealing. Above are photos of my trash bag filled with 4 paris of shoes, a pair of spats, and 2 accessories all for only $140. Even more exhilarating is the fact that the clothes still have the original price tag on them, my purchase (non-warehouse sale) would have come out to over $800. Sorry I didn't get a chance to post the flyer before the sale to all you LA'ers out there, I promise I'll keep you in the loop on the next one! xox

Project Runway Finale - SPOILER ALERT

I just finished watching the season finale for Project Runway, I'm still drying my eyes it was so beautiful. Thank god Emilio's snoring collection didn't win, although a million kudos for that mythical gold dress stunner finale piece (bottom photo)! Seth Aaron is amazing, and that parachute dress left me speechless. I love how he so nonchalantly mentioned "Yeah I thought I should throw in something that moves just so you guys know I could do it" and it turned out like a masterpiece. I'm not really even gonna mention Mila's collection, it wasnt bad, but it wasnt good; it just made me go "Meh." What do you guys think??

Last night was another "religious experience" at Voyeur in San Diego. I tried out some bandit eye-make up since I was scrambling for an outfit and decided to be dramatic in my make-up versus my clothing. We decided to stop by IN N OUT Burger in Pacific Beach for some burgers where I was asked if I was in a Lday Gaga video... I told them I was just trying to get some free burgers to be honest ; ) If you are in the San Diego area I hope you got your ticket for the sold out BLOODY BEETROOTS Show at the House of Blues, its sure to be and mythical evening. DIY: Metal Power Shoulder Dress

Step 1: Buy yourself a roll of aluminum tin available in the roofing section of Home Depot for around $13 (pictured above) and a plain black power shoulder dress. I got mine on ebay.

Step 2: Use clippers to cut off 2 sections of tin, one for thigh, one for each shoulde. We will then take these sections and cut them down into their exact size listed below, and round the corners.

Step 3: Cut out your pieces to your desired shape and size 

Step 4: After marking your armor position, we can now attach them using the glue gun just glueing the right and left edges of the armor to the garment. An alternative to glueing could be using velcro to attach the metal to the jean so then the metal pieces are removable and you could wash the garment easily.
